Great peace have they which love Thy law,
And noth¤ing shall of¤fend.
Their love for that which per¤fect is
Pre¤serves them to the end,
God’s love and law their hearts em¤ploy,
How ver¤y great their peace and joy.

Great peace have they which love Thy law,
And noth¤ing shall of¤fend.
Naught can dis¤turb the peace of those
Who on Thy grace de¤pend,
Thy per¤fect law con¤verts the soul
Of those who love Thy law’s con¤trol.

Great peace have they which love Thy law,
And noth¤ing shall of¤fend.
Thy per¤fect law as coun¤sel¤lor
Their spir¤its shall de¤fend,
The Spir¤it of Thy law their guide,
They faith¤ful¤ly in Christ a¤bide.

Great peace have they which love Thy law,
And noth¤ing shall of¤fend.
He reigns with¤in, the Prince of peace,
A just and faith¤ful friend,
At His re¤buke, strife must de¤part,
His pres¤ence sanc¤ti¤fies the heart.

Great peace have they which love Thy law,
And noth¤ing shall of¤fend.
One with the Fa¤ther, one with Christ,
As one their spir¤its blend,
They love His law, God’s law is love,
Foun¤da¤tion of His throne a¤bove.
