How pre¤cious is the word of God
To con¤trite hearts and pure;
¤How gra¤cious are His prom¤is¤es,
So stead¤fast, safe and sure.

Chorus:
When I’m de¤creas¤ing,
Self¤love is ceas¤ing,
Christ is in¤creas¤ing,
Fill¤ing all my heart.

How full of joy and sweet con¤tent
The souls who seek His face;
¤And weaned from self His full¤ness prove,
Re¤ceiv¤ing grace for grace.

Thus joy¤ful in the place of prayer
Their hearts like in¤cense rise,
¤An of¤fering pure, ac¤cept¤a¤ble,
A will¤ing sac¤ri¤fice.

How rich is the a¤bun¤dant store
To those who free¤ly give,
¤With¤out re¤serve, the life He bought;
Re¤ceiv¤ing life they live.

All grace and truth in full¤ness dwells
In God’s a¤noint¤ed One,
¤All that per¤tains to God¤li¤ness
In His be¤lov¤ed Son.
