I find my rest at Je¤sus’ feet,
In qui¤et¤ness I learn His will
Then fol¤low on with con¤fi¤dence,
Strong in His strength, o¤be¤dient still.

Chorus:
In qui¤et¤ness and con¤fi¤dence,
I sit to learn at Je¤sus’ feet,
O¤bey¤ing all His ho¤ly will,
I find my strength in Him com¤plete.

When fears op¤press I seek His face,
Com¤pas¤sion¤ate my Lord draws near,
With words of coun¤sel to con¤sole,
And per¤fect love to cast out fear.

Why should I ev¤er doubt His love?
The love of God in Christ re¤vealed
Is death¤less, can¤not be de¤stroyed–
The love where¤with my heart is sealed,

Thy hands have made and fash¤ioned me,
Pos¤sess this will¤ing heart of mine,
Work Thou in me, Al¤might¤y One,
And har¤mon¤ize my will with Thine.
