I need Thy ¤grace, O ¤Lamb of God,
To aid me in ¤the pil¤grim way;
I trem¤ble ¤at the ¤tempt¤¤er’s ¤power
And feel my ¤need to ¤watch and pray.

O let me ¤now a¤¤bide in Thee:
Thou art my shield ¤and hid¤ing place,
Thy pre¤cious ¤blood my ¤on¤¤ly ¤plea,
While wait¤ing ¤at the ¤throne of grace.

Thy ten¤der ¤love and ¤mer¤cy, Lord,
Sub¤due this stub¤¤born heart of mine;
They flood and ¤fill my ¤in¤¤most ¤soul
And claim and ¤make me ¤whol¤ly Thine.

I come to ¤Thee to ¤find soul¤rest
And nes¤tle clos¤¤er to Thy side;
How base the ¤heart that ¤would ¤be¤¤tray
The soul’s re¤¤deem¤er, ¤friend and guide.

Though heaven and ¤earth may ¤pass a¤way,
Thy word will stand ¤for¤ev¤er sure;
The prom¤ise ¤is, they ¤shall ¤be ¤saved
Who faith¤ful ¤to the ¤end en¤dure.
