Je¤sus calls me– I am go¤ing,
Do not seek my feet to stay;
Yearns my soul to rise and fol¤low–
Cease, vain world, to lure a¤way.

Chorus:
I es¤teem re¤proach for Je¤sus
More than earth’s vain show and pomp;
He is call¤ing– I am go¤ing,
Forth to Him, out¤side the camp.
For His sake re¤proach es¤teem¤ing
More than earth’s vain show and pomp;
He is call¤ing– I am go¤ing,
Forth to Him, out¤side the camp.

Je¤sus calls me– I am go¤ing;
His as¤sur¤ing voice I hear,
Thrill¤ing all my soul with rap¤ture,
Chas¤ing all my doubt and fear.

Je¤sus calls me– I am go¤ing;
Out to bear re¤proach with Him;
Light ce¤les¤tial beams a¤round me,
Light which nought on earth can dim.

Je¤sus calls you, rise, be go¤ing;
Slum¤ber not, but trim your lamp,
Get the oil with¤in your ves¤sel,
Fol¤low Him out¤side the camp.
