Title: Keep Silence, O My Soul and Know
Name: Beatitudo
Words: Sam Jones
Music: J. B. Dykes
Meter:
Form:

Keep si¤lence, O my soul and know
The Lord is ver¤y near,
With¤in the tem¤ple of thy heart
God will Him¤self ap¤pear.

His pres¤ence sanc¤ti¤fies the whole,
Im¤part¤ing truth and grace,
Clothed in hu¤mil¤i¤ty we own
’Tis now a Ho¤ly place.

Loved with an ev¤er¤last¤ing love,
A love which can¤not cease,
This thought pro¤du¤ces in my soul
An ev¤er¤last¤ing peace.

When sense and things of time have ceased,
And all of earth is o’er,
His joy in glo¤ry un¤de¤filed
Is thine for ev¤er¤more.
