My Sav¤iour left His Fa¤ther’s home,
Came down to teach me how to love;
He died to put a¤way my sin,
And take me ¤to His Home a¤bove.

My Sav¤iour, I would walk with Thee,
O, keep my mind and con¤science free,
Let Thy pure love fill all my soul,
That I may ¤serve Thee faith¤ful¤ly.

I long to have the sin¤gle eye,
To keep my bod¤y full of light,
Thy love and ten¤der¤ness a¤lone
Shall keep my ¤heart and spir¤it right.

Thine on¤ly is the love and grace,
Thy Spir¤it is the power I need,
Thy gen¤tle¤ness shall make me great,
And no¤ble ¤in my word and deed.

O, grant Thy pure and low¤ly mind,
Thy meek¤ness and hu¤mil¤i¤ty,
All that per¤tains to God¤li¤ness,
May ev¤er¤¤more a¤bide in me.
