O God, Thou source of life di¤vine,
When shall I find my all ¤in Thee,
I need Thine own al¤might¤y power,
That I may walk in ¤lib¤er¤ty,
From all in¤iq¤ui¤ty de¤part,
And serve Thee with a per¤fect heart.

To know Thee is e¤ter¤nal life,
And Je¤sus Christ whom Thou ¤hast sent,
Im¤part this know¤ledge to my soul,
Be¤fore my days and ¤years are spent,
I long to know Thee as Thou art,
And serve Thee with a per¤fect heart.

Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
Ac¤cord¤ing to re¤demp¤¤tion’s plan,
I would be all Thou hast de¤creed,
Re¤vealed in Christ the ¤Son of man,
Thy grace and gen¤tle¤ness im¤part,
Thine own true ho¤li¤ness of heart.

This is the bur¤den of my prayer,
Con¤sum¤ing me both night ¤and day,
Let all Thy ho¤ly will be done,
In this frail ten¤e¤¤ment of clay,
The car¤nal mind shall have no part,
While love is burn¤ing in my heart.
