Oh, help us, Lord, to seek Thy face,
And touch our hearts ¤that we may pray;
The foe is strong, we need Thy grace
¤And pow’r to ¤keep ¤us in the Way.

Chorus:
Weak in our¤selves we fear ¤the foe,
But love the ¤path ¤where Je¤sus trod;
Strong in His strength we for¤¤ward go;
Our hope is ¤in ¤the liv¤ing God.

Oh, give us un¤der¤stand¤ing hearts,
And help us now ¤to in¤ter¤cede
For those who in the dark¤ness dwell,
¤That they may ¤see ¤and feel their need.

Pos¤sess our hearts and fill our minds
With light and wis¤¤dom from on high,
That we may man¤i¤fest Thy life,
¤And vile af¤¤fec¤¤tions cru¤ci¤fy.

Whom have we, Lord, in heav’n but Thee?
And there is none ¤on earth be¤side,
So ten¤der, pa¤tient, kind and true
¤A loy¤al, ¤faith¤¤ful friend and guide.

May we as saints and serv¤ants now
Com¤mit our¤selves ¤to Thy good will;
Our lives up¤on the al¤tar lay,
¤Sub¤mis¤sive, ¤pli¤¤ant, calm and still.
