Pray, be¤lov¤ed, al¤ways pray,
Lest you wan¤der from the way.
In the tem¤ple of your heart
Dwell with God, a¤lone, a¤part.

Chorus:
Prayer will put your foes to ¤flight,
Clothe you in the Spir¤it’s might.
Like Thy Mas¤ter, watch and ¤pray;
Prayer, all prayer will win the ¤day.
foes to flight, watch and ¤pray; win the day.

Pray, be¤lov¤ed, al¤ways pray,
Eve¤ry mo¤ment, eve¤ry day,
Dwell¤ing in the se¤cret place,
Strong in Christ’s a¤bound¤ing grace.

Pray, be¤lov¤ed, al¤ways pray,
Heark¤en! Hear what God would say.
Fer¤vent¤ly, with¤out re¤straint,
Al¤ways pray and nev¤er faint.

Pray, be¤lov¤ed, al¤ways pray,
Let not Sa¤tan’s host dis¤may.
An¤gels whis¤per, “God is near;
Trust in Him, and hush thy fear.”

Pray, be¤lov¤ed, al¤ways pray,
Time is short, do not de¤lay.
Eve¤ry oth¤er source must fail;
Prayer, all prayer will sure pre¤vail.

Pray, be¤lov¤ed, live in prayer;
Let it be your na¤tive air.
Breath¤ing life from Heaven a¤bove,
Dwell in God, for God is love.
