Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
That I may walk with God
In ho¤li¤ness and right¤eous¤ness,
In faith and pu¤ri¤ty.
Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
Un¤til thine eyes can see
The im¤age of Thy Ho¤ly One
Made man¤i¤fest in me.

Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
In¤flame and pu¤ri¤fy,
And shed a¤broad with¤in my heart
Thy love which can¤not die.
Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
I fear lest I should miss
The to¤ken of Thy love, Thy seal,
And bond of per¤fect¤ness.

Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
En¤light¤en me in love,
And set my heart’s af¤fec¤tions on
Those things which are a¤bove.
Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind;
Then I shall un¤der¤stand
And feel and know the power of touch
Of Thy Al¤might¤y hand.

Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
Thou coun¤sel¤lor di¤vine,
My meat shall be to do Thy will,
And lose my will in Thine.
Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
Ac¤cord¤ing to Thy Word.
Change me in¤to the im¤age of
My Mas¤ter and my Lord.

Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind;
Trans¤formed I long to be,
Put off the old that I may bear
Thy im¤age per¤fect¤ly.
Re¤new the spir¤it of my mind,
That I may faith¤ful¤ly
A¤bide in Christ and let Him dwell
In me con¤tin¤ual¤ly.
