Soul a¤drift with¤out the Sav¤iour,
With no hope be¤yond the grave:
Look and see the hand of Je¤sus,
Held in mer¤cy now to save.

Chorus:
Grasp the hand held out in mer¤cy,
Come in spite of fear and doubt;
He who knows your sin and sor¤row,
Will in no wise cast you out.

Seek the Lord while you may find Him.
Call on Him while He is near;
Though the hosts of sin may hin¤der,
Come to Je¤sus, do not fear.

Hear His plead¤ing voice so ten¤der,
“Soul, I died that you might live;”
And your life so dear¤ly pur¤chased,
Can you still re¤fuse to give?

Still He calls, and yet you lin¤ger;
Why will you His love gain¤say?
Know ye not that there will nev¤er
Come a more con¤ven¤ient day?
