¤The way in¤to the Ho¤li¤est
Is o¤pen now to me;
When I ap¤proach in Je¤sus name,
My ad¤vo¤cate I see.
The Lamb of God be¤fore the Throne
Is in¤ter¤ced¤ing for His own.

¤My soul draws near and there, by faith,
I see His sprin¤kled blood
Pro¤claim¤ing I have been re¤deemed,
Be¤fore a Ho¤ly God.
I have no plea but on¤ly this,
My Sav¤iour’s blood and right¤eous¤ness.

¤Oh, can it be the price is paid,
The spot¤less Lamb was slain,
And per¤fect¤ed in Ho¤li¤ness,
I shall for¤ev¤er reign
With Him in God’s un¤cloud¤ed day
When form¤er things have passed a¤way.

¤Then Oh my soul, be brave, be strong,
Your ad¤vo¤cate a¤bove,
He ev¤er lives, He can¤not fail,
He pleads for you in love.
Hold fast and firm your con¤fi¤dence
And great shall be your rec¤om¤pense.

¤The suf¤f’rings of this pre¤sent time
Are noth¤ing to com¤pare
With glo¤ry, the e¤ter¤nal weight,
I shall with Je¤sus share.
Oh, glo¤rious prize when life is done!
To bear the im¤age of His Son.
