They can¤not stay those ¤wheels of time,
Soon our al¤lot¤ted ¤span will end.
God’s ways and work¤ings ¤are sub¤lime,
His ways we own and will de¤fend.

Oh, teach us, Lord, to ¤count our days,
Re¤deem them for e¤¤ter¤ni¤ty,
Ap¤ply our hearts to ¤wis¤dom’s ways,
To die to self and live for Thee.

The time is short, re¤¤mem¤ber, Lord,
We wres¤tle with the ¤powers of sin.
We plead Thy grace, Thy ¤strength af¤ford,
To com¤bat foes with¤out, with¤in.

We do not fear to ¤suf¤fer now,
If Thou wilt con¤so¤¤la¤tion give.
To all Thy Ho¤ly ¤will we bow,
In Thee we move, In Thee we live.
