We have found the way of life,
It has ban¤ished gloom and strife,

We were lost in sin and shame,
When the low¤ly Sav¤iour came,
He has won our hearts and we have made Him King.

Tri¤als pain¤ful and se¤vere

But He will not prove us more than we can bear,

And the chas¤t’nings prove a Fa¤ther’s love and care.
