We thank thee for an o¤pen door,
In¤to the Ho¤li¤est of all.
We will hold fast and wav¤er not
As on the Lord our God we call.

Chorus:
That door was o¤pened wide for us
By Him, who in¤ter¤cedes on high.
He paid our ran¤som with His blood
And in His name we now draw nigh.

God’s on¤ly Son from Heav’n a¤bove
Came down to purge a¤way our sin,
And now, in¤to the Ho¤li¤est
By His own blood we en¤ter in.

We have in¤deed a great High Priest,
This cer¤tain truth no power can dim,
He saves un¤to the ut¤ter¤most
All those who come to God by Him.

In mer¤cy, Lord, in¤crease our faith,
On thy sure word we now de¤pend;
We will hold fast our con¤fi¤dence
In love, en¤dur¤ing to the end.
