With heart re¤signed and will sub¤dued
I sit at Je¤sus’ feet:
He is my law, my life, my all,
In Him I am com¤plete.

In all hu¤mil¤i¤ty I learn
His gra¤cious ho¤ly will;
I heark¤en and o¤bey His voice,
Sub¤mis¤sive, pli¤ant, still.

The law of sin and death would rise
To draw me from this rest,
But held in His al¤might¤y arms
I lean up¤on His breast.

The law of Christ with¤in my heart
Is strong to keep me free:
O¤be¤dience to the mind of Christ
Brings in¤ward pu¤ri¤ty.

The pure in heart shall see His face;
He is their hope and joy:
How sweet the tran¤quil rest He gives,
And peace with¤out al¤loy.

The voice of God, so still and sweet,
Speaks to my in¤most soul:
